How to use third party domain registrar and Cian's Web Hosting

If you would like to keep your domain name registered to a thrid party and cannot change name servers because of your email configuration, follow the below steps to direct your domain name to your new hosting space.

  1. Login to your cPanel and note the IP address.
  2. Then within cPanel go to Simple DNS Zone Editor and update the following
    a. Ensure that the MX (mail) entries are unchanged,
    b. Simply point the A record for the domain, and the 'www' subdomain to the IP address selected in step 1.

    Note: It will take about 4-8 hours for the change to propagate, and email will remain unaffected.
