Suspected virus, malware or attack on my website

If you believe your website has been the victim of malicious activity, whether it be a virus, malware or denial of service attack, you may wish to scan your website. In the first instance it may be useful to check your website using a site checker such as:

If you are using a content management system (CMS), such as Joomla, Drupal or Wordpress, make sure you have the latest version and consult thier forums for best practise solutions.
