Follow the below steps to update copy right information on a Magento site.
1. Navigate to Admin >> System >> Configuration >> General >> Design >> Footer
2. Make changes.
3. Save Config.
4. Refresh the cache. To refresh the cache, navigate to Admin >> System >> Cache Management. Select all and refresh.
Note: If you cannot find the copy right information here and you can see it on your website, it may mean it is coded in the backend, contact your web developer.
